Re: My Animation

It is a 4 minute and about 50 seconds movie with high resolution and sound. When I open the link in a new window I have no problem accessing it. Unfortunately it will not play unless your computer has flash player. In order to post it here I have to try another compression....o....and by the way it ...

Hi Erin this suonds interesting to me, what kind of inc needs to be used?... I suppose it must to be waterproof? is there a reason why the canvas or paper needs to be acid free?

Menolly I forgot-it is acrylic paint, white, grey and black painted over black gesso.

Thanks everyone for writing. I was away last week and haven't watched the topic. John, I am pleased that you like as it is and what I meant by sepia is perhaps a more own or yellow tone to the overall monochromatic look. Erica, I appreciate your imput. To be honest I was also thinking of painting a ...

I painted this painting from an old photograph. I quite like the monochromatic feel to it, but I am thinking of glazing it with some guessed color or simply to achieve a sepia look to it. Any suggestions are wellcome.

Hi there, first of all art is as much about the process as it is abut the result. If you realy realy enjoy painting, then there is nothing that should stop you. Does everybody listen to exactly the same style of music? There will always be those who like your work and those who don't. And then ofcou...

Hallo Donna, my favourite part of this painting is definitely the old house. I like the colours, especially on the roof-it certainly shows observation and attention to detail. I am not sure that the trees go very well with it though..... It seems they are a bit naivistic in comparison with the reali...

WOW Erika the compromised version looks great-I like the base too. It is amazing how you get paper mashe to stand on one leg with high heels.

Hi Mike to be quite honest i also prefer the first one which is in fact my later piece. I was exploring the theme of nature both as inspiration and as painting equipment (didn't use a
ush in either of them). Anelia

Erika I would say I prefer the second one. I like its pose more, although I am not sure if it is not because of the angle it is taken from. Also I prefer the colour of the second one, since I generaly prefer warmer colours. But then again colour serves for expressive purposes as well. What medium di...

Thanks Erika, the form of the plate did indeeed inspire my composition, and in fact the image has arrived because of it. I didn't use a
ush in this one. Here is another one of the same shape, i painted it with a feather.

enamel painting on porcelain

Hi everyone, here is one of the plates I decorated last year. I must say this is a new area for me and much to my own surprise I quite enjoyed it. Please feel free to comment. I would like to know what other artists think about it.
