Hi Erika Thank you for the advise. I was more curious to see if others had experienced the same. One I'm working on...

more like staring at. lol. This will be a mixed media art quilt. The images and text were created with the cyanotype process. Right now the size is 15" x 14.5". Its "sister" piece is called Tiny Boxes.

I like the piece as is - wonderful textures.
I am very intrigued by the idea of a male Medusa. It would make an interesting theme for an exhibit.
(I just saw a pen drawing of a male Medusa this morning posted on one of the art groups on Myspace.)

Can't wait to see more.

No Envy: a women's art show open to all artists.
The exhibit will feature 40 artist from the St. Louis/Metro East area.
Presented by Art Co-Op.

Opening reception: 3/14/2008 7-11 pm
4515 Olive & 462 N. Taylor in St. Louis, MO.
DJs and refreshments available at both locations.
