I never said it was "not very good" far from it... it has an impressionist feel - so generally its fine...
Just has a contrast of light and pattern that I noticed. reconcile those - and you will be fine. :)

E I like this a lot.. the cat has character, and the stylized background adds additional interest. Color choices, are nice.. though dark, I think it adds to the character of your subject. :)
