Nice sense of motion in the drawing. I agree about needing to have more contrast, but that could be due to the qualty of the photo or scan.

Thanks for the feedback. I will definitly work on the opacity of the text within my future pieces to see if I can subdue those elements within the image a bit.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm working on the Zagros Mountains painting and have put some final touches on 'Pastoral Ireland'. Here is a decent photo of 'Pastoral Ireland'. I firmed up the horse and changed the cowboy to a little girl. The changes that you have made to the 'Pastoral Ireland' painting...

These are some great character designs! However I'd like to see more gradual shading built up in each. Take a close look at how Leonardo da Vinci used line variation and intensity to build shading in his drawings. I think that by adding more gradual shading these images will be even more impressive.

Through the combination of text and graphic elements, it was my intent to gain more control over the interpretation of these images in this body of work. I can understand how some may perceive this as a more in-your-face approach to Art, and therefore turn people off. But I wanted to specifically di...

Thanks for looking at my work. That lion illustration was one of my early works, just out of college. I now do my finished work primarily with digital tools. Of course I still do all of my sketching on paper and occasionally get out the color pencils or pastels and render some image "by hand&qu...

Thanks for the comments Joe. I see what you are saying about the background contrast. In this group of images I was going more for an organic approach to the dream topic. I envisioned these as being kind of the inner workings of the mind during the dream process.

I'd go with the top one as well because the hot area is not as intense and the background is more subdued. Also the I like the deep colors better in the the top one.

Ouch, over a week and no replies to any of the pieces! This is not a good sign at all.

Trihedron image: Another Tomorrow

In this posting and two others I have included 3 different images which are all related. For my current series of images I have been working on images in groups of three using computer-generated 2D and 3D imagery along with narrative text to abstractly convey storyline progression. Each group includ...

I find myself only limited by two things lately: time and motivation. Time is an obvious factor for most everyone but motivation is definitly something I put upon myself. It seems like I only push myself to create images if I have some sort of short term goal like a solo exhibition date to meet. Sin...

I really like the sense of motion in these images. Do you work from photo references or live subjects? Also how are these images presented, individually or in a group?
