Re: You ever lost your artistic abilities?

Agree, I don't think you can actually 'lose' your abilities. When I get depressed, it usually helps me to cope with that depression, even though the result might not be as good as I want it to be. In that moment I actually don't care about the outcome. I just want to distract myself doing stuff that...

Re: art video

Love the colors! The video is also very mesmerzing, which I love. Feels so relaxing. How long did it take you to finish the video? With the editing and everything?

Thanks for sharing this! I haven't seen anything like this before and you definitely sparked my interest! I don't think I could pull this off, but I was amazed by just watching it.

Re: White Mare with Fillie

Carl's post really got me thinking concerning my own works. Be bolder and go where I've never gone before. I also tend to be a a little 'quiter' when it comes to painting but I'll keep your comment in mind!

Re: What is the reason why you initially like painting?

Interesting question and I've been thinking about that for quite some time now. I mainly like painting because I can let my creatitvity roam free and have my own interpretation of certain things. Art knows no boundaries and with painting, I feel like I can be more creative. Not saying that digital a...

Re: Watercolor Hunting Dog

I agree with Pooch here. It looks a little weird when you're seeing it from the angle you painted it. The missing ear is the first thing I noticed when I had a look at your picture. Other than that, it's beautifully done!

Re: Watercolor Mare with Colt

I like how you improved your first picture. It's a little darker than the first version but I definitely prefer the second one. Now it actually looks like they're standing on grass :) and the light on the black horse's back isn't distracting anymore, so yeah this is a major improvement :)

Re: Watercolor Mare with Colt

I agree that there needs to be done something about the grass as well. It doesn't really look like they're standing on grass, it looks way too smooth.
Anyway, I hope you're gonna post your result once you're done! :)

Re: Seascape

The water you did great. I like how you did the flowing of it. But I feel like the sky's missing something. The sun? Clouds? Some small birds flying around? That's just my opinion, though.

Re: Watercolor Mare with Colt

Hi there, new face here in the forum! :D I like your picture, it has a somewhat innocent feel to it and it is calm and relaxing as well. I also like the idea of the light shining from behind the horses. However, I think that the light on the black horse's back might be a tad too much but maybe that'...
