Thanks! I appreciate the feedback. The background branches and leaves were a bit rushed. I wanted to focus more on the foreground. I'd played with the idea of darker colors for the background. It didn't work for me. It had a muddy feel and felt it took away from the story some. Imagine being a hiker...

I think it works well standing on its own. Allowing the viewer to create what the eye is viewing in their own minds allows for a more interesting concept. I love the textured feel and detail in it.
