German Shepherd Realism

Hi friends! This is a colored pencil/watercolor piece I've been working on. The biggest issues I see are the lack of details in the sky, the weirdness of the grass, and the lack of value in the legs and paws. But anyways, please tear this up! Your proportions are great, but you need to darken everything -- maybe play with some charcoal or at least some darker graphites. Everything you need to put in that piece is there, but it just needs more value, more shading, and more darker colors.

The first thing that comes to my mind is that the marionettes seem to blend in with the background just a little too much, and the proportions on the left and right marionettes are a bit off. It's almost there (and by there I mean where I would consider it "done") but you need to tweak it ...
