Without having a direct reference, I am finding the shadowing of the curved ramps challenging. So far, I am happy with how its going. The amphitheater is also slowly coming together.
Started working on the smaller bits for a change. TOP: Discerning what can be seen through the mesh of the slide railing. BOTTOM: Initial stages of painting the park buildings.
Top surface of skate park is concrete made from fine blue-metal and yellow-tan cement. Decided to use pointillism for simulating the concrete and depth of field.

Painted the spirit scooter rider with Titanium white, and slightly thinned with turps to help it dry quicker. I laid the canvas flat on its back to sprinkle pastel coloured glitter onto the paint.
