John and Erika, thank you for your honesty. And I think that might be where my love/hate is. The concept was in my head but the skill wasn't there. Ah well, luckily acrylic is easy to repaint and do a bit of correcting. Thank you for both of your suggestions also. Sometimes it hard to see the forest...

What do you think?

Ok, I've put this in the "Be Gentle" section, but will take whatever you'd like to say. This is an acrylic on 16 x20 canvas board. I did it about a year ago (I had stopped painting for several years, then last year the passion came back), but have to " ush" up on the skill. I hav...

Hi Techno,
They are all great, but my favorite is the last one posted. It gives me a calming effect. The others increase my heart rate, which is not a bad thing. But at this time in the morning, I've had too much coffee and the BP is too high :-)

Fantastic Jupiter! And I can understand why you would want the original on your wall. And have no doubt that the limited editions and open prints will sell well!

There's a mystic to it. I keep looking at it with expectation. Maybe because of it showing a flowing movement, and the colors add to the mystery. Definitely no yawn....and most certainly no hate....like it alot...possibly bordering love.
And this is my humble opinion :-)

Oh my gosh Zhenlian,
I bounced from color to color and then on to the Chinese painting menu.
All of them....soothing, relaxing and oh so beautiful!

Thank you all. It's quite inspiring to be here.
I'm a self-taught artist and have just recently picked up the
ush again.
I feel like such a little fish amongst all this talent. But practice makes perfect and my
ush is quickly becoming an extension of my arm :-)

I also agree with most of you.
Although I'm not into cars (or trucks), I can really appreciate the time and talent that went into creating it.
Great work of art you have!
