Re: New Site

Stunned I was by your new site and the wonderful work that went into your book. I am recently returned after a time out to raise my youngest son and was researching artist websites. Bravo! seems insufficient to express my take on yours. I did try sending an email from your contact portion, however, ...

Re: I gave my site a makeover

Maria, I visited your site interested in your drawing of elves, also to get an idea as to how an artist does a blog site. Yours is very well done and is easy to navigate. I fear I must do some more homework and get some writing done ere I attempt one for myself for that is what I desire to do. I did...

Your art

The warrior elf (my name for it) is wonderful! I have not been a regular visitor here due to job and time restraints, but I am impressed with this work.
Perhaps I will have more to say when I see your other works.

Dryad

A fine Dryad indeed Erika. I agree with Joe, the vine did not work without extensive articulation. The finished piece works well.

Doodle diggin

I'm back from a while out of the loop A. Give me a day or two and I'll be adding my comments on how I perceive the doodles. I too had an outside art show and had a blast! I may have to do some more of that sort of thing. Oh, yeah, 410 is a nun making a stitch in time.

I'm back

I'm back A. but it appears my last two comment sections at least have been deleted. Seems it all began with the tamale vendor. Anyway, when it is cool for me to respond to a doodle, let me know, I rather enjoyed the name game.

Lesson

As I have come tardy to this page, I can only say that I am impressed with your step-by-step showing of a process to create a painting. Been almost two decades since I last worked with oils, however, this may be a catalyst for me to consider a revisit. I love the master and pupil theme as well. Carr...
