Vision Painting No. 1

I woke this morning after having a brief vision, this is what I feel that vision or dream was trying to portray.

Re: Still life

I feel indifferent when I look at it, each piece is well drawn and has excellent light display, but the piece in a whole isn't dark enough to feel emotional and not enough detail to draw me into it longer, a nice table cloth or busy wall paper in the backdrop would have helped me to feel more involv...

Re: Hidden Treasures: Chameleon

I feel like the photograph of the piece does not reflect all the aspects of the flower, as its 3 separate whites, that don't all show up well, but I agree I don't think its finished, I feel the flower needs more of a representative shadow under the chameleon.

Re: For Jesse

I'm a photographer, in most of my Macro shots its just like that, Bold at the focal point blurring out from there. I think my brain kinda works like that also, focus on the main setting blur out background. I am uploading the finished piece in just a moment.

Re: Penny's Garden

Do you think it's gallery worthy? I don't know what to do with it, in all honesty it will probably get gifted to a friend or family member. I have no connection with the art world as I am shy as HE(double hockey sticks), I see other's work on here and think I still have a lot to learn.

For Jesse

I have recently finished this piece. This snapshot was taken on my phone sorry it doesn't do it justice! I cannot seem to give this a title as it came from two separate photographs that I entangled together in this drawing as I was remembering a friend I recently lost to suicide. If you have any tit...

Re: Night Reflections

I feel the water could be more reflective of the beautiful sky, while I like the muted off-white almost milky hue to the lake, I really think bringing some more blues and purples and greys along the distant shoreline could give more definition to the lake. That being said, I would love to be able to...

I think I hate this...... but unsure

I have started this particular piece several times... I think what is holding me back are the shots that I am using to create it. ~j.lazell
