tea time

Working with charcoal, pretty new and inexperienced with it but really admire the dark gritty look it gives, I had some trouble with the mug, just could not seem to get it right. any feedback or criticism welcomed and wanted.

Thanks for the tip I think I will try that with the clouds, I fine painting with a knife is very fun and exciting because it gives you a lot of freedom, but at the same time can be very frustrating, the trees took a while but when I got it to the look I have I was very scared to keep going back and ...

Training with palette knife

Another attempt with just using the knife and oils, had a rough start and trouble with the clouds (which I thought were supposed to be the easiest part) any tips and criticism will help.

Mountain theme cont'd

Still stuck on the mountain theme, used mostly a knife for both pieces had some trouble with the clouds and mountain peaks on the first one. I really love the look that palette knives bring to paintings. Anyway like to hear any feedback anything to improve.

thanks, there are few things I am having trouble with but like I said I am very much a rookie and I am excited to keep exploring. I appreciate any feedback or criticism, anything that helps improve my skills i am very open too.
