Re: Van Gogh fuc yourself

The graphic world strips creative freedom from everything! Thanks a lot Rebecca (or Tanya) I really appreciate that. :)

Re: Move Forth

Thank you! I think a lot of his stillness or peace comes from the suspended, flowing fins. Excited to do some more work on him.

Re: Move Forth

Haha, never thought of him as a tickler, but an interesting take! Thanks.

Re: Van Gogh fuc yourself

Thanks Eddie! Van Gogh is one of my favorites as well. I like to do more "frenzied" work now and then because I think it's one of the more freeing aspects of art, and a relief from the tedious. I appreciate your kind words.

Re: A Season of Solitude?

Fantastic color! I don't think the composition looks too random. I like the way the lighting on the rocks and sky combined with the animal subjects lead your eye around the piece nicely. A friend's criticism is the best way to push yourself forward! Great work.

Re: Some digital art?

Very eye catching and cool concepts. If you haven't already, you would probably love to explore vector lines or paths with Adobe Illustrator. The 2 sides piece would look great with smooth vector lines.

Re: Abstract Maelstrom!

I love the color in this! The orangish color in the corner really jumps out against the purple. The squiggles are a very neat texture, I just wish 1-3 of them were a little more dominant to give it some focal points! Awesome style.

Re: Recent Drawing's

Excellent form and contrast between darks and highlights! A little distortion in perspective, but overall great work. Working with an upright easel instead of on a desk can really help resolve perspective issues.

Move Forth

A piece about to committing to the only logical option; moving forward. The eyes showing a blank or unsure stare. Done with ink and pastel on screen printed paper.

Not quite finished.

Re: Van Gogh fuc yourself

Is it SO blue? I thought it had more of a red feel to it.

Van Gogh fuc yourself

Not a representation of Van Gogh, or an attempted imitation of his style. I started this piece trying to make a bust of a weathered looking figure saying the word "who". I just wanted it to be an open ended, and interpretable question being asked. It's a navy colored lacquer that I spread ...
