Re: Laying in Space, a fairy

WOW that's very beautiful! I wish I could paint something like that! I'm sure I could if I tried really hard, but my problem is that I haven't quite developed a skill for doing my own original work. A good majority of my work is what my friends and I call 'copy' art. Very good job :) I love the deta...

Gypsy Fairy

From the inspiration of Mark Crilley, My Anime works are becoming better and better each time I try :) This one took me about 3 hours and is 100% completely original.

Re: Autumn Day

Yea, i was having issues with that.. making a 'glowing' effect with the white, to where it's there but still has color, is one of my most difficult challenges.. That's why I chose this picture, cause it's something I need to learn to do.

Autumn Day

A painting I did for a friend of mine. Yes it's a reproduction, however, I do those kind of paintings so that I can learn how to draw and paint different animals and such. it's kind of like a study for me.. So, here it is: a mother chipmunk and her baby enjoying some apple blossom buds.

Re: Father's Day Present: FINISHED!!

Thanks a bunch :) and yes, If i did do a bunch of forging, I would have to learn how to make colors look exactly as they do on the picture, which is a talent I have yet to master sadly... I also figured if I made it lighter, my dad would be able to see the details more clearly. and he does love it :...

Re: Father's Day Present: FINISHED!!

I'm not looking to so much make a living off of artwork that I copied, or to make a living off of art period really. I did at one point, however it is darn-near impossible for me to accurately make an original painting that looks realistic in anyway versus doing an original sketch. That's why I've d...

Re: Father's Day Present: FINISHED!!

ps- the line down the middle separates the two photos. When looking at your computer screen, the one on the left is the picture I observed, and the picture on the right is the one I painted. forgot to mention that lol.

Father's Day Present: FINISHED!!

OMG it took me about 5 days, (20 hours total of all 5 days) and I FINALLY FINISHED IT!!! I'm a few weeks early, but I still gave it to my dad :) He loves it. Now, I'd love to get feedback from my fellow artists. Whether you think I'm horrible, or if it's good, or inbetween or what I could have done ...

Father's Day Present

This is a picture I am painting for my dad for a father's day present. I wanted to start making work to sell and stuff, but I think I will stick to making gifts for people. :) The paintings come out better that way. I took the two pics and set them side by side, a black line down the middle is separ...
