You did an awesome job, I really like optimus prime. Only one thing I don't think I saw He-Man in there anywhere?

Re: first sketch with my new bamboo tablet

wacom has a new one that is basically a monitor that you can lay flat on your table, and you draw directly on the screen. That one runs about 500 dollars, but it looks really cool.

first sketch with my new bamboo tablet

I've recently bought a wacom bamboo tablet. I've been toying around with some stuff in photo shop. Here is a quick one I did of a space ship. I have to say that drawing on a tablet takes some getting use to.

Re: Theta Waves and Creativity - Care to discuss?

The whole subjects of float tanks are really fascinating, you can usually rent time in one at spas, and stuff. The inventor of the float tank is really interesting to. His name was John C. Lilly, and he invented the tank to see what would happened if the human brain was deprived of all sensory input...

Re: Theta Waves and Creativity - Care to discuss?

I've heard of people using binaural beats before. Another way to get your brain into a state of Theta waves is by spending time in a float tank, AKA sensory deprivation tank.

There is one for rent in my area, but I haven't gotten around to trying it out yet.

Did the Joy of Painting make you fall asleep?

I'm sure everyone here has watched the Joy of painting with Bob Ross. If you haven't then you should really check him out on you tube. Now for those of you who have watched it. Was it just me or did this guy have the most relaxing mellow voice ever. I use to love to watch him paint on PBS in the aft...

Re: venting,just venting

Getting cut short in life is always terrible, and nothing I type will help. However it is good you found something to hang on through with your art.

Anyone on here draw this?

I want every one to see this drawing, and I want everyone to know that I did not draw this. This was drawn for me by a fellow student who I was in a fine art class with back in 1998. The students name was Alice, and she drew this for me on her last day of class. I'm posting the drawing just on the o...

A superhero I made up way back in 1990.

This is an updated version of a character I made up back in 1990. I called him the night dweller ( I can't remember what the logic was behind the name). He was a mix between robocop and Rob Liefields Cable. In the back ground I tried to add in some fire using acrylic paint. The effect didn't come ou...

Re: Looking for an artist to do a series on.

I wanted to just update this by saying that I am currently interviewing two artists that have responded to this. So for the time being I won't be doing anymore, until I have finished with the two artists I'm currently in contact with.

Re: Has anyone heard of Carroll Beckwith?

Thanks I'm glad you found it interesting. I've always been interested in past lives, and read some really mind bending books on the subject. One in particular that was really freaky was a book called the holographic universe. Yeah tumblr is great for blogging. My blog use to be on wordpress, but It ...

Has anyone heard of Carroll Beckwith?

Carroll Beckwith was a portrait artist who died in 1917. He wasn't a very famous artist, but in recent years a paranormal mystery surrounded him. This is an article I wrote about it, and thought it would be entertaining to share it. http://draftingtableworld.tumblr.com/post/47474731796/the-paranorma...

Re: The Art Conspiracy

Well I don't think there is anything wrong with you, or your attitude. It all just boils down to personal taste, if you don't like a certain type of art it's just not your thing. I know a lot of people how don't like abstract art, and for the same reason you don't. Like Jerry Springer once said &quo...
