Actually, I like these shots of the work better than the "repost."

Bruce, even with the daylight glare, this looks to be very "edge." Nice, nice work.

It will be interesting to see the entire series and installment.

My "gut" reaction was curiosity, my eye searching for the "answer," which was "she's lying on a mirror." Her expression seemed too penetrating for comfort, too hungry in sexual desire. The
oken eggs are disturbing, almost obscene.

For next time: Always make good scans or copies of your work and use those to try the colors and techniques before working on the master.

Hmm. You need to post this in the forum help thread so Singular is sure to see it. Or send him a private message. The site has been acting sluggish and weird the last two days for me, so maybe there is a glitch in the get-along at the database level.

real world media, digital media -- doesn't matter. It's all art. What I object to, all the way around (RW and DIG) is an artist not being honest about techniques. Specifically anyone using projection, photomanipulation, tracing, cloning, or print as underpainting, and NOT advising the buyer that the...

Catching up, there is so much to respond to. Instead, I think I'll just say this: I agree, I agree, I agree, I agree, I DISAGREE. This forum, this thread in this forum, on this board, is most appropriate, is most civil, retains decorum, and absolutely belongs. It's refreshing. To suggest it could de...

Re: Social Impact

Forgive me for jumping into the middle of this interesting discussion, but I have been trying to identify the "significance" of the art that I see in these times. I believe there are plenty of artists out there making those social commentaries. ie..banksy. The problem, as I see it, lies i...

Good art evokes...a response in the observer at a fundamental level, engaging their perception of what is. This doesn't have to be a "good" or "bad" reaction, neither one. They can love it or hate it. But "good" art also depends upon the observer owning the capability t...
