About Me: Hello everyone. I started painting about 2 years ago after accidently downloading an episode of “The Joy of Painting” with Bob Ross (season 24 Ep. 1 Grey Mountain). I spent 5 years in the army and then another 5 years traveling as a satellite engineer. I would often download TV shows to take with me when I was going overseas. After watching Bob Ross explain his painting process I realized the same troubleshooting process I used to fix satellites could be used to paint landscapes. A short time later I stopped working to focus on painting. With too much time on my hands, and being very excited about the progress I was making, I quickly discovered graffiti. I started taking drawing and painting classes at a local community college and began developing a more complete and well-rounded arsenal. Although I no longer work with wet-on-wet technique I still work mostly with oils. I also love soft pastel and am working on some 3d stuff. I seem to be drawn to the human figure and work a lot with images that involve manipulating and distorting bodies and faces. I’m quickly turning into a huge art nerd and love to hear about the processes other are going thru to make their work.
