For over twenty years I have devoted my time and talents to creating visual images that convey a sense of spirit. Each one of my sculpture designs goes through an extensive process from thought to finished piece. All are a limited edition of seven to seventeen adding to the preciousness of each piece
I start with an idea, and as I am working each original I become entranced - almost obsessed until the design is worked out. Many times when the piece is finished I step back with the question of “Where did this come from?”. I find that artwork is more fresh and inventive if the design is not over thought but simply brought out from within ones own self.
I have had many years of experience in the casting of bronze sculpture including working at Bronzart Foundry Inc in Sarasota for over twelve years. There I have worked on numerous pieces from small to monumental in every genre. With this experience I have been able to hone my own sense of style in my sculpture. Recently, I have become aggressive in marketing my work by entering shows and soliciting galleries and Museums. I am very dedicated to creating original and quality sculpture for exhibition.
Born and raised in Florida, I have recently made my way back and am residing in the small hometown where I grew up; Melbourne Beach. I am married with two teenage children. I am so happy that my children will enjoy the same privilege of growing up in a sleepy beachside town as I.
